Such an amazing night of music on Friday with THE PJ PERRY QUINTET.  Perry on alto saxophone, Kevin Dean on trumpet, Mark Eisenmann on piano, Neil Swainson on bass and Andre White on drums. It was unreal to hear White and Swainson play with the this group right after hearing them play in a completely different setting the night before with Kirk MacDonald (tenor saxophone). The sounded like a completely different rhythm team.  Not better or worst, just different. Totally adjusted to the type of music that was being put in front of them.  It was fantastic.  Mark Eisenmann should be heard from more because he really is fantastic and Kevin and PJ on the front line….WOW!! You can tell that PJ was really inspired by this wonderful group!  Looking forward to another good one tonight!
