THE BIG SMOKE

I always love coming to Toronto!  How bad can it be when you hit the stage with Bernie Senensky on piano, Neil Swainson on bass and Terry Clarke on drums?  Great guys, and absolutely wonderful players. As you may have seen from my previous post, Duncan Hopkins played on Sunday and sounded equally as wonderful.

Had two fantastic clinics at Humber College on Tuesday/Wednesday on the Music Business and it occurred to me how passionate I am about talking about my thoughts on the business.  I really hope I can exploit this because the students and teachers for that matter seem to get a lot out of it. Hell Rik Emmett of Triumph fame even had some very very nice words for me!

Tonight its The Rex with the organ group (Bernie on organ, Reg Schwager on guitar and Ted Warren on drums) which should be lots of fun!  I think my man Ray Irwin will be there with video camera in tow so I will post some video as soon as he gets it to me. In the meantime here is BLUE DANIEL from Chalkers the other night:

I hope I live long enough to read your memoirs, Cory. You’ve already packed more into your life than most people, and you’ll have plenty of good stories to tell.
